I grew up in Cairo and spent many a summer (70's) living in Whip-o-Will campground. We would come down to your place during the summer and I would always have a piece of your Black Forest Cake. I left to go to college and haven't been back since. I always swore when did make it back to go by and have another piece of your cake. Living in Alaska means that's going to be awhile. Stayed with the Glenbrook Farm hosts. Skipped lunch many times to have lunch and dessert at Hartman's. My wife Harriet loved the black forest cake and the wonderful sandwiches (home made breads). My daughter and son-in-law kept up the tradition for many years .... my hope is that someone will buy the property and continue to serve the guests at holiday time.
